a new interest I have in the alchemical process and from a deep commitment to dreams as revelation of consciousness. When I start to paint, I usually have a glimmer of an idea, memory, image or feeling that impels me into the process. From there I am operating in the dark, believing and not believing that the painting will tell me what to do next and then that it is finished. Sometimes this happens, sometimes not. When it does, I am a happy woman, no matter the outcome. |
